Examples of the breadth and depth of MBIA’s experience include the financing of three of the UK’s largest utilities Anglian, Southern and Welsh Water as well as selective transactions in gas, electricity and renewables. In 2007 MBIA expanded its utilities insured financings with wind farms, primarily located in Germany known as Breeze III.
