Prior to this position, Mr. Sourbis was head of the Enterprise Finance Department responsible for MBIA’s new business activities in the healthcare, municipal housing, military housing, higher education and other non-for profit sectors. Through mid-2001, Mr. Sourbis was the head of the Consumer Asset-Backed Department in MBIA’s Structured Finance Division. Prior to MBIA, he spent over six years with Swiss Bank Corporation in both New York and London where he was responsible for the origination and structuring of a number of asset-backed transactions. Mr. Sourbis has an MBA in Finance from New York University’s Leonard N.
