He joined the company in 2004. Previously Mr Mendoza spent eighteen years at Merrill Lynch as a managing director in various functions. He was part of the corporate securitization group charged with developing debt investing opportunities for Merrill Lynch’s principal commercial banking operations. Prior to that and based in London, he co-managed the structured products group for Europe, Middle East and Africa based in London. He also established and developed the global infrastructure group in charge of financing solutions for infrastructure assets for clients around the world with offices in New York, Hong Kong and London. He started his career at Merrill Lynch in the Public Finance Department. Mr. Mendoza is a native of Mexico where he received a BA degree from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
