Larry
Levitz
Managing Director
Larry Levitz is a managing director in MBIA’s Global Tax-Backed Department, where he covers a number of different bond sectors, including general obligation, appropriation-backed, tax revenue, special assessment and project finance transactions, both nationally and internationally. Previously, Mr. Levitz worked in MBIA’s Eastern Region on airport and other transportation financings. Mr. Levitz spent the earlier part of his MBIA career, which began in 1989, as an analyst in the Southern region and on the MBIA’s International Underwriting Committee reviewing proposed international financings. Before joining MBIA, Mr. Levitz was a senior analyst at Moody’s Investors Services. Mr. Levitz began his career working for New York City in the Office of Management and Budget as the capital analyst for the Department of Cultural Affairs. Mr. Levitz has an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters of Public Affairs from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs of the University of Texas at Austin. He holds a B.A. from Union College. |
