Mr. Kissane oversees MBIA’s new business activity in the western region of the United States and provides research and analysis of municipal financings. Mr. Kissane is also responsible for the general marketing efforts throughout the western region. Mr. Kissane began his career with MBIA in 1993 specializing in the analysis of utility, transportation, and tax-backed related credits. Over the years he has assumed roles of increasing responsibility and in 1997, he relocated to San Francisco to assist in the opening of MBIA’s west coast office. Mr. Kissane holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Manhattanville College.
