He was also the company’s first investor relations officer from 1991 through 1995. He joined the company in 1985 as a specialist in the documentation and closing department, and one year later he was an analyst in the housing/structured finance department. Beginning in 1988, Mr. Diamond spent 14 years in the Finance Division, where he held responsibilities for managing financial analysis and planning, investor relations, the rating agencies and MBIA’s pricing models. He was Assistant to the CFO from 1999 to 2002. From 2002 through 2006 he was the lead underwriter for the Consumer Asset Backed group in the Risk Management Division. He rejoined the Finance Division in 2006 in his current position. He’s an alumnus of Dartmouth College with a bachelor of arts degree and he also holds an MBA in finance from New York University Leonard N.
