Shake-A-Leg
MBIA is also a sponsor of
the Wall Street and Corporate
Challenge for Shake-A-Leg,
an organization dedicated
to providing individuals
who have experienced spinal
cord injury and related
nervous system disorders
with recreational therapeutic
services. During the summer,
MBIA sponsors several adaptive
sailing programs for Shake-A-Leg
to help raise funds and
awareness.
As a corporate sponsor of
the event since 1993, MBIA
has taken a lead role in
rallying other Wall Street
firms to the cause. Since
inception, this event has
raised over $2.5 million.

Museum
of the City of New York
The MBIA Foundation has
made a significant multi-year
pledge to the Museum to
help it fund its first major
expansion and renovation.
The Museum is a wonderful
symbol of MBIA’s commitment
to the world of public finance
as seen by its infrastructure.
